Rachel Balaban’s Potjandozie business has spanned three decades and produced both children’s and adult clothing. The common denominator is color, pattern, fabric and distinctive, original design.

When not making scarves or teaching dance, Rachel Balaban can often be found swimming or sailing on the ocean.

Rachel lives in Middletown, Rhode Island, and through Potjandozie produces two unique lines of scarves, one featuring hand-painted silks and the other, combinations of fabrics found in the open-air market of Utrecht, Holland.
